Aim & Scope
The aim of Cumhuriyet Science Journal (CSJ) is to disseminate high-quality, peer-reviewed, open-access research that advances knowledge in the fields of Natural Sciences and Applied Health Sciences through the publication of original research and review articles with strong analytical and experimental foundations.
Cumhuriyet Science Journal publishes research and review articles on biochemistry, biology, chemistry, mathematics, molecular biology and genetics, physics, and statistics.
*** The Cumhuriyet Science Journal aims to publish original Full Research and Review Articles. Survey studies that do not include experimental research are not accepted.
Research Articles should include;
* scientific novelty,
* acceptable experimental results,
* Figures with high resolution (max. 6)
* Tables with editable format (max. 6)
* at least 2500 word excluding references
Review Articles should,
* be appropriate to the CSJ's scope.
* contain at least 4000 words and at most 8000 words, excluding references.
* include a sufficient number of current references, including from CSJ.
* cite at min.30 and at max. 80 current references.
** Review articles are published after the peer review and if deemed appropriate by the editorial board. The number of review articles to be published in each issue is limited.
Author Guidelines
Thank you for choosing to submit your paper to Cumhuriyet Science Journal. The following instructions will ensure that we have everything we need to take your paper smoothly through the preliminary evaluation, peer review, production, and publication process. Please take the time to read and follow them as closely as possible to ensure that your paper meets the journal's requirements.
* The total number of figures and tables in a manuscript must not exceed 10 for original research articles and 15 for review articles.
* CSJ does not consider purely clinical studies that do not include any chemical or biological analyses, retrospective studies based solely on raw data presentation, or survey-based studies.
***A few minor revisions have been made to the article template of Cumhuriyet Science Journal, effective from 2026. Authors are kindly requested to submit new manuscripts using the updated template, which can be downloaded from the link below.

The manuscript file must be prepared directly within the official MS Word template of the Cumhuriyet Science Journal. Authors are strictly required to download and use the journal’s template without altering its formatting, structure, or predefined styles. Manuscripts prepared outside the official template or submitted with modified formatting will be returned to the authors for correction prior to review.
All authors must provide their ORCID numbers. Submissions lacking an ORCID for each author will not be processed.
The manuscript must include all figures and tables embedded in the main document, each accompanied by a complete and properly formatted caption.
A section titled “Conflict of Interest” must be added at the end of the manuscript, clearly declaring any conflicts or stating that none exist.
A Copyright Form must be uploaded during the manuscript submission process. Manuscripts submitted without a completed copyright form will not proceed to peer review.
For authors submitting in Mathematics or related fields:
All equations must be written using the MS Word Equation Editor.
If MathType is used, all mathematical expressions must be written in Calibri font, size 11.
Ethical Principles and Publication Policy
1. Aims and Scope
Cumhuriyet Science Journal (CSJ) is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal that publishes original research articles, review articles, and short communications in the fields of natural and applied sciences, including but not limited to chemistry, biology, physics, mathematics, and related interdisciplinary areas.
2. Publication Frequency
Cumhuriyet Science Journal is published six times a year (February, April, June, August, October, and December).
3. Peer Review Process
Cumhuriyet Science Journal operates a double-blind peer review system.
All submissions are initially evaluated by the Editor-in-Chief or Associate Editors for scope, originality, and scientific quality.
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to at least two independent reviewers.
Reviewers and authors remain anonymous throughout the review process.
The final decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection is made by the Editor-in-Chief.
The average review period is approximately 4–10 weeks.

5. Ethical Responsibilities of Authors
Authors submitting to CSJ must ensure that:
The submitted work is original and has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
All sources are properly cited and plagiarism is avoided.
All listed authors have made significant contributions to the study.
Any conflict of interest is clearly disclosed.
Research involving humans or animals complies with relevant ethical standards and approvals.

Authors must state that:
Ethical approval was obtained from an appropriate ethics committee, when required.
Informed consent was obtained from participants.
7. Plagiarism Policy
All submissions are screened for plagiarism using similarity detection software (e.g., Turnitin or iThenticate).
Manuscripts with excessive similarity will be rejected.
Acceptable similarity thresholds are evaluated by the editors based on context and discipline.
8. Conflicts of Interest
Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence the work.
Any identified conflicts of interest will be transparently handled by the editorial team.

Cumhuriyet Science Journal is an open-access journal. All published content is freely available to readers without subscription or payment.

All published articles are permanently archived on the journal’s website and assigned Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs).

Editorial decisions are made independently and are not influenced by the publisher, institution, or any external organization.

Price Policy
There is no charge for submitting, reviewing, and publishing a paper to the journal. Cumhuriyet Science Journal is a completely free scientific journal for all users.
