Bio

Numbers have always fascinated Dr. Boddu Muralee Bala Krushna, a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Andhra University. He is actively engaged in research on fractional-order boundary value problems for which Andhra University awarded a Doctoral degree. Dr. Krushna did his research on the “Existence of positive solutions to fractional order two-point boundary value problems”. Apart from being a doctorate in Mathematics, Dr. Krushna has also done MSc and MPhil from Andhra University. He has more than 15 years of experience in teaching undergraduate and post-graduate level technical students. Dr. Krushna has instructed MSc and MTech students in the subjects of Applied Mathematics-I and II, Boundary Value Problems, Complex Analysis, Operations Research, Advanced Mathematics, and Analytical and Numerical Methods for Structural Engineering. He is actively engaged in the design/development of the curriculum for the various Mathematics courses offered by the engineering branches. For the past 15 years, he has taught courses such as Engineering Mathematics-I, Engineering Mathematics-II, Engineering Mathematics-III, Mathematical Methods, Complex Analysis, Complex Variables, and Statistical Methods for undergraduate candidates. He has done MOOC courses in Mathematics offered by NPTEL. He is a member of professional bodies like the Board of Studies for Mathematics in MVGR College of Engineering (Autonomous). Currently, he continues to serve as an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Maharaj Vijayaram Gajapathi Raj College of Engineering (Autonomous), Vizianagaram, India. His major research interests are in the fields of ordinary differential equations, fractional-order differential equations, and boundary value problems that arise in mathematical physics. He also focused on establishing the existence of positive solutions and multiple positive solutions to fractional-order boundary value problems. Criteria for determining eigenvalue intervals that have at least one positive solution to iterative systems of fractional-order boundary value problems also play a prominent role in his research studies. Research articles on these topics have been published in a number of national and international journals. Research articles on these topics have been published in a variety of national and international journals. He has also published about 27 research articles, most of which are Web of Science-indexed journals (17), and the rest of them are Scopus-indexed. He has participated in national and international seminars, conferences, workshops, and short-term training programs. He also presented some research papers and invited lectures at different national seminars and conferences. Acting as an Editorial member for “American Journal of Applied Mathematics” and also reviewer to examine various research articles for publication in journals such as the American Mathematical Society, Zentralblatt MATH, International Journal of Applied and Computational Mathematics(Springer), Mathematical Sciences(Springer), Journal of Applied Mathematics, American Journal of Applied Mathematics and Computing(Springer), Journal of Mathematical Modeling, TWMS Journal of Applied and Engineering Mathematics, International Journal of Nonlinear Analysis and Applications and other indexed journals. Dr. Krushna is the recipient of the prestigious award of “Andhra Pradesh Akademi of Sciences - Young Scientist Award" by Govt. of Andhra Pradesh for his work in the field of Mathematical Sciences in the year 2016. He has qualified for the State Eligibility Test (SET) for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states in the open category conducted by Osmania University, Hyderabad. He has received many awards and medals at Mandal, Division, and District level essay writing, drawing, and painting competitions. He served as one of the active members of the national workshop WOMTECH-12 which MVGR College of Engineering organized. He also works as a member of the Research and Development Committee at this institution. Previously He served as one of the members of various committees such as Library, E-Services.
