OKUL LİDERLİĞİ VE SINIF-İÇİ ÖĞRETİMDE ÖĞRETİMSEL İKLİMİN ARACI ROLÜ

Öz

Son yıllarda yapılan çalışmalar okul liderlerinin eğitim öğretim süreçlerine doğrudan ya da dolaylı etkilerini ortaya koyma çabasındadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı da bu eğilimden yola çıkarak, okul liderliği ve sınıf-içi öğretim ilişkisinde öğretimsel iklimin aracı rolünü belirlemektir. Bu amaçla ortaokullarda görev yapan öğretmenlere okul liderliği, öğretimsel iklim ve sınıf-içi öğretim ölçekleri uygulanmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Karaman ili ilçelerinde bulunan devlet-özel ortaokulları ve buralarda görev yapan öğretmenler oluşturmaktadır. Bu kapsamda 2020-2021 eğitim-öğretim yılında Karaman ilinde bulunan ortaokullarda görevli 585 öğretmene ulaşılmıştır. Çalışmada değişkenler arasındaki ilişkiler yapısal eşitlik modellemesine dayalı olarak incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın sonuçları, okul müdürünün okul liderliği davranışlarının öğretimsel iklim ve sınıf-içi öğretim çalışmalarına doğrudan etkilediğini ortaya koymaktadır. Ayrıca çalışmamızın bulguları, okul liderlerinin öğretimsel iklim aracılığıyla sınıf-içi öğretim üzerinde dolaylı bir etkiye sahip olduğunu göstermiştir. Bu nedenle araştırmacılara dolaylı etkiyi açıklayacak farklı değişkenler içeren farklı modelleri test etmeleri önerilmektedir.
