Investigation of some Yield Characteristics of Hemp (Cannabis sativa L.) in Tokat Ecology

Year 2020, Volume: 15 Issue: 2, 104 - 108, 30.06.2019

Abstract

The hemp plant has two important products in terms of use, one is the stems and the fibers obtained from them, the other is the seeds and oil. In this study was aimed to determine the adaptation abilities of industrial hemp variety and population in Tokat-Kazova ecology. In the experiment, the local Narlısaray population of our country and Fedora-17 variety were used as materials. The trial was carried out in 2019 in three replications according to the Randomized Block Trial Design. According to the research results; plant height was found to vary between 175.1-363.3 cm, stem thickness 8.64-15.97 mm, technical stem length 101.0-246.6 cm, stem yield 668.75-3143.75 kg / da, seed yield 184.0-310.0 kg / da, 1000 grain weight 9.78-18.26 g and the oil ratio between 23.53- 27.06%.
