This study, which is the first araneo-fauna survey in Bayburt province, was carried out around the Bâbertî Campus of Bayburt University between June and September 2023. A total of 38 species belonging to 14 families were identified in the study. These species constitute the first locality records of Bayburt province. Of these species, Titanoeca tristis L. Koch, 1872 is determined as a new record for Türkiye. Also, the presence of Pardosa aquila Buchar & Thaler, 1998 is confirmed by the present study. Detailed descriptions, photographs and world distribution data of both species are presented. In addition, the copulatory organs of Pardosa aquila Buchar & Thaler, 1998 are compared with those of its closest relative, Pardosa italica Tongiorgi, 1966, found in the same region. All species identified in the study area are listed with their world distributions and references in Türkiye.
