Konstantin P. Katin was born in Moscow in 1986. He works as the associate professor at Department of Condensed Matter Physics, National Research Nuclear University MEPhI. He also head a computational materials science scientific group in the Research Institute for the Development of Scientific and Educational Potential of Youth. Konstantin obtained the PhD in condensed matter physics in 2011 working on carbon nanostructures with unconventional frame geometry. His researches lie in the areas of condensed matter theory, calculation methods in quantum chemistry, and computational modeling of physical and chemical properties of low-dimensional nanostructures.
